Engraved Fish Hook Keychain with Birthstone

Details & care

Some gifts get put on a shelf. This one goes in his pocket. The steel fish hook hangs from a black pendant etched with the words you choose — his name, a date, or simply Best Dad Ever — and if you want to add another layer, pick a birthstone for the month that belongs to him or one of his kids. It is stainless steel, so it holds up to keys, pocket lint and the bottom of a work bag.

Details to make it yours

• Single line of engraving etched on the pendant
• Optional birthstone in the month you select
• Stainless steel fish hook with a black or steel tone pendant
• Choose the hook alone or with a round wire key ring
• Sized to clip onto keys, a backpack zipper or a truck ring
• Popular engraving: Best Dad Ever, a name, or a special date

How to personalize

Pick your pendant and key ring style, then type the engraving exactly as you want it to read — spelling, capitals and punctuation included. If you would like a birthstone, choose the month from the drop-down. Short phrases of two to four words look best on the pendant.

Care for your keepsake

Wipe the metal with a soft dry cloth after heavy use. Keep it away from chlorine, salt water and household cleaners, and let it dry fully before it goes back in a pocket or bag.

Your questions, answered

How much text fits on the pendant?

The engraving is a single line. A short phrase such as Best Dad Ever, a first name, or a date reads clearly; longer sentences get scaled down and become hard to see.

Do I have to add a birthstone?

No, it is optional. You can order the keychain with engraving only, or pick a birthstone month if you want an extra detail tied to him or to a child.
